Job Summary The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is essential in collaborating with account teams to assess and design tailored infrastructure solutions that support customer business objectives. This role includes building technical partnerships with OEMs, delivering training to sales teams and clients, overseeing the solution practice pipeline, and pinpointing technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services domains. Role Responsibilities Collaborate with account teams to evaluate and understand customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
Craft and propose customized infrastructure solutions that align with the business goals of clients.
Build and maintain strong technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, staying updated on product information.
Provide comprehensive product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
Act as a trusted IT advisor, working alongside Field Account Executives.
Manage the solution practice pipeline by devising strategies for key prospects and driving new business acquisition.
Identify and explore technology opportunities within Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services sectors.
Develop solutions that cater to client needs and budgetary requirements through strategic planning.
Engage with various client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs, for effective account management.
Enhance the skills of sales teams in technical selling, product training, services, and emerging technology trends.

Qualifications Experience in handling complex Data Center sales opportunities at an intermediate level.
Ability to design infrastructures including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged systems, and automation solutions at an intermediate level.
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, and data center management platforms at an intermediate level.
Capable of effectively communicating and selling complex technical products by discerning customer needs at an intermediate level.
Familiarity with leading technologies such as Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, and AWS at an intermediate level.
Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability Solutions at an intermediate level.
Other Requirements A completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience is required.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events as needed.
Advanced certifications in mainstream technologies are highly preferred.
The estimated annual compensation for this role is between $160,000 and $260,000, which includes base salary and bonuses, reflective of the applicant's skills and experience.
