For an exciting assignment with our customer, Siemens Smart Infrastructure, we are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/d) who is passionate about building reliable data products and pipelines, enabling data‑driven development, and supporting the deployment of scalable machine learning solutions in an AWS environment.


In this project-based role, you can work from anywhere in Austria. The position is available immediately and offered as a full-time role (38.5 hours/week).


  • Build and maintain data products to empower data scientists and engineers
  • Work closely with development teams to shape clear data interfaces and requirements
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using the AWS technology stack
  • Support automation of data science workflows and ensure repeatable ML deployments

  • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale data and building reliable data pipelines
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, plus hands-on experience with Apache Spark (ideally PySpark)
  • Practical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker) and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and REST API implementation
  • Clear communication skills for defining technical requirements; fluent in English
  • Experience with IoT and large-scale time-series data is a huge plus
  • Interest or hands-on experience in MLOps and the AI product lifecycle are beneficial

The monthly gross salary according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry for this function is at least EUR 4.515,55 (this in any case exceeds the collective agreement minimum salary). Depending on your education and experience, an overpayment is possible. We will determine your final salary during a personal conversation.
