Your RoleAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEMH needs.
- Be familiar with behavior management techniques.
- Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
