About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker , you will play a vital role in our team, providing tailored care packages to our residents in Poole. Your work will directly impact their lives, helping them develop essential skills and build trusting relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and safeguard the welfare of our young people.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • Flexibility to work 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating schedule.
  • A willingness to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent, with the goal of upgrading to Level 4.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A commitment to learning and personal development.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern that rotates every three weeks. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values your individuality and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary starting at £24,604.58 (unqualified) or £27,107.08 (qualified), with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 and £34,851.08 respectively, including sleep-in shifts.
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night .
  • Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
