Compensation

Unqualified Salary: Starting at £24,604.58, with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 including sleep-in shifts.

Qualified Salary: Starting at £27,107.08, with potential earnings up to £34,851.08 including sleep-in shifts.

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our dynamic team in Bournemouth. Here, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored care packages that cater to the unique needs of each child and young adult. Our supportive and collaborative team is committed to recognizing and valuing each staff member as an individual.

Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support children and young people, understanding the challenges they face.
  • Work flexible hours, including 7 x 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins over a 3-week rotation.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a full UK driving license and car for travel purposes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Be eager to learn and grow in your role.
  • Undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
