Must be a U.S. Citizen Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like
You will be responsible for building and maintaining core components of the GHOSTGEM application suite. Some days you will be developing new services or expanding existing features. Other days may focus on debugging issues, optimizing system performance, or integrating new technologies into the environment.
You will collaborate closely with system engineers, analysts, and fellow developers to translate mission requirements into reliable software solutions. Expect to contribute across the full software lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment, and sustainment. You will also help refine CI/CD pipelines, maintain containerized deployments, and ensure applications continue to scale and perform in mission environments. Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience: Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 7 years of relevant experience OR 9 years of Software Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Required Skills Strong Linux command line experience and familiarity with Linux development tools Experience developing automation scripts using Bash or Python Recent Java software development experience Experience using the Spring framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integration Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Experience with container technologies such as Docker or containerd Experience deploying services in Kubernetes environments Experience creating Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ or Kafka Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Bamboo or GitLab CI Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible Experience using Git for source control Desired Skills Experience working with the Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence Experience working in collaborative Agile engineering teams Experience supporting distributed microservice environments Technology Stack

Compensation Range: $183,000.00 - $235,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
