- €76,245 (based on rates effective 01/02/2026) South East Technological University (SETU) is an internationally oriented university that aims to provide a centre of knowledge, research and innovation that will cultivate future generations of active and engaged citizens across the South East region of Ireland and Computer Services Department at SETU is a Professional Support Service that is responsible for the strategic development of the campus computing, telephony, audio visual, multimedia and information systems infrastructure.
Computer Services maintain an enterprise scale networks, systems, applications and data infrastructure.
It is also responsible for the delivery of end user services to the staff, learners and researchers of the University.
SETU's Waterford Campus is now seeking to recruit an Audio Visual Technical Officer to support the day-to-day operational audio visual requirements of its large user base.
The Audio Visual Technical Officer will be part of a team responsible for supporting and developing a range of audio visual equipment used in SETU Waterford Campuses for teaching purposes and in support of University activities such as events, conferences, seminars both on and off campus.
The post holder will report to the Head of ICT Digital Services.
They will be part of the Educational Services team and will work closely with students, academic staff, professional, management and support staff.
