We are hiring Senior Software Engineer to help shape and scale a mission-critical fintech platform serving millions of consumers. Rather than hiring into a single predefined team, candidates will go through one unified process and be matched with the team where they can create the most impact. Senior Engineers here are backend-leaning but comfortable across the stack, owning product outcomes-not just tickets. You will influence architecture, mentor peers, and build scalable systems that directly improve users' financial lives. This is a high-ownership role in a product-driven engineering culture that values clarity, craft, and long-term thinking. The position is hybrid in NYC and suited for engineers who combine strong system design skills with a product mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, production-grade systems serving millions of users
Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term technical roadmap planning
Lead by example in engineering excellence and high code quality
Mentor junior engineers and elevate team capability
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Operations
Improve engineering processes alongside senior leadership
Own projects from problem definition through delivery
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong technical expertise (experience with Python, React, Postgres, AWS preferred; adaptable engineers welcome)
Experience building and maintaining scalable production systems
Strong system design fundamentals
Experience working in product-oriented environments
Nice to Have
Experience in fast-scaling or high-growth environments
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Product-oriented mindset with focus on user impact
Evidence of initiative, entrepreneurial drive, or high-ceiling potential
