We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join the team!

The Mandate

Reporting to the Production Supervisor , the Stock Controller ensures accurate inventory management and efficient material flow by overseeing shipping, receiving, and stock control activities.

You will be responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining precise inventory records, and ensuring that materials are properly stored, organized, and handled safely to support operational efficiency and production needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform daily shipping and receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, labeling, and storing materials.
  • Verify all received goods for quality, quantity, and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the system and ensure proper documentation of stock movements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or variances to the relevant department.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas methodically and efficiently to ensure easy access and optimal space utilization.
  • Safely operate handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes , in accordance with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure all materials are handled, stored, and transported safely to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements and Profile

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Valid certifications: Forklift and overhead crane (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and material handling best practices.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems (ERP, shipping software, optical scanners) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to lift and move materials safely.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong collaboration skills.
  • Bilingualism (English-speaking environment).
