POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Cité Rive Residence is located on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies, in the Rivière des Prairies borough. This residential complex comprises 5 phases, spread across 5 apartment towers, for a total of 850 units.
Under the supervision of the Head Chef, the successful candidate will assist the Head Chef and cooks in their duties. They will participate in the preparation of cold dishes and desserts, cut and peel vegetables and fruit, plate dishes, prepare meal trolleys, and assist the rest of the team with the maintenance of equipment and the kitchen. Temporary full-time position, 40 hours per week, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in assembling plates
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals

Food Services

• Clean kitchen equipment
• Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Perform other related duties

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good team player
• Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of senior living residences is a major asset.
