Supervising Social Worker

With over 25 years of experience as an independent fostering agency, we are looking for a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Coventry.

This is a part-time position offering 28 hours per week (4 days), with a competitive salary of up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00) . You will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care for the children we serve.

• Provide direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
• Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Have previous experience in children and families social work.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
• Exhibit strong IT skills and excellent report writing abilities.
• Be flexible with working patterns and travel, holding a full driving license and having access to your own car.

Your office will be based in Long Eaton , with a standard caseload covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire . Most locations will be within an hour's drive, but flexibility may be required as part of team collaboration.
