As a Business Intelligence Engineer , you will work with our Sales team to create analytical tools that will ultimately be a key driver in driving the growth of the company. You will leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of business customers. You will drive future solutions that will impact how we capture new customers and delight our existing ones, and you'll have a lot of fun along the way!
Your responsibilities will include: - Developing the next generation data & analytics infrastructure to enable Amazon Business to support its customers and sales teams - Generating actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses - Providing customer insights as new initiatives are being identified, prioritized, implemented and deployed - Manage and execute entire components of large projects from start to finish including data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience - 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab - Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift - Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
