Up to £33,000 DOE + Commission Working Pattern:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
My client is a well-established, high-profile London venue known for delivering a wide range of corporate meetings and events. They are now seeking a Venue Sales Executive to join the commercial team and support revenue growth through effective enquiry handling and conversion.
This is a client-facing role combining sales and event coordination, ideal for someone who enjoys managing enquiries, building relationships and delivering a seamless experience from first contact through to event delivery.
You will play a key role in maximising venue utilisation, supporting commercial targets and ensuring every client receives a professional and well-managed service.
Key Responsibilities Manage incoming event enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses Prepare detailed proposals, quotations and contracts Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings in line with revenue targets Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity within the CRM system Build and manage relationships with clients, agents and repeat bookers Conduct venue show rounds and client meetings Negotiate contracts while maintaining commercial viability Manage event diaries to maximise space utilisation and avoid clashes Liaise closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution Meet and greet clients on event days, acting as a key point of contact Support reporting on sales activity, enquiry trends and performance
About You Proven experience in event sales within a venue, hotel or hospitality environment Strong customer service and relationship management skills Commercially aware with the ability to convert enquiries into revenue Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills Able to manage multiple enquiries and events under pressure A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
