About

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Queens Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community within Queens, is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist for their ACT program. The ACT psychiatrist is part of a multidisciplinary team and has overall clinical responsibility for monitoring client treatment and staff delivery of clinical services. The ACT psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment and treatment in the community and coordinates the client’s medical care with their psychiatric treatment. The appropriate candidate should have an understanding of the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness and be knowledgeable about the ACT model of care. This is a full-time position with 32 hours in ACT and 8 hours in the CPEP. We offer faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team working with a diverse patient population. 

Queens Hospital Center has a Residency Training Program with opportunities to teach and mentor psychiatry residents and medical students. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number in order to practice medicine.
