Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team of ADABAS administrators to support MDHS applications, including MACWIS. Manage and optimize ADABAS environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Analyze user requirements, design solutions, and implement system modifications. Test, troubleshoot, and perform quality assurance on information systems utilizing Natural, ADABAS, MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM, Linux/zLinux, and related technologies. Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for procedures, policies, and system configurations. Provide advisory on system architecture and contribute to modernization efforts, especially legacy application upgrades. Implement and enforce policies to ensure the security and integrity of database systems. Support compliance with federal and state mandates related to child welfare and economic assistance programs. Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Software AG products, including ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, and Predict. Extensive experience analyzing technical requirements, testing, and implementing information systems. Proficiency in Natural AJAX, WebMethods EntireX, CONNX SQL gateway, ApplinX. Strong knowledge of MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM files, Linux/zLinux, Espsoft/SCL, Informix, UNIX. At least 3 years of advising on system architecture, documentation, and process development. Experience working within child welfare, TANF, SNAP, or related economic assistance systems preferred. Knowledge of federal and state policies related to child welfare is a plus. Familiarity with Jira, KACE ITSM, SCRUM methodologies, and legacy modernization. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with child welfare workflows and compliance requirements. Proven success in modernizing legacy applications. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
