This is a practical, on-site leadership role suited to someone who wants to be actively involved in the day-to-day reality of the business visible on the shop floor and on site, trusted by management, and confident in supporting and challenging where required.
Recruitment will be a major focus, alongside managing the full employee lifecycle, strengthening HR systems, and ensuring robust compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities : Full ownership of end-to-end recruitment across all roles within the Group Workforce planning in collaboration with senior management and Payroll Dept.
Drafting and managing job advertisements and campaigns Direct sourcing, CV screening, and agency coordination Managing work permits and entry visa processes where required HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Lead all onboarding, induction, and probation processes Maintain accurate HR records and personnel files Support and advise managers on: o Performance management o Absence and attendance o Disciplinary and grievance matters Policies, Compliance & Systems Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures Ensure compliance xcfaprz with Irish employment legislation Liaise with overseas compliance advisors to ensure all operatives are fully site-ready This is my clients first designated HR manager hire so its a great opportunity to head up and drive on the HR function as my client expands to €100m revenue in the next 2/3 years.
