The Role You will be responsible for creating and optimising offlineCNCprograms usingCAD/CAMsoftwareforadvancedmillingandturningmachines,ensuringcomponentsareproducedtoextremelytighttolerancesacrossarangeofmetalsandengineeringpolymers.
Workingcloselywithengineering,production,andqualityteams,youwillhelpdeliverefficient,high-qualitymachiningprocessesthatsupportnewproductintroductionandongoingproduction.
Key Responsibilities Develop and optimise CNCprogramsformillingandturningmachines usingCAD/CAMsoftware Interprettechnicaldrawings,3Dmodels,andengineeringspecifications Selectappropriatecuttingtools,speeds,feeds,andmachiningstrategies Machineprecisioncomponentsfrommetalssuchasstainlesssteel,titanium,andaluminium,aswellasengineeringpolymers Troubleshootmachiningandprogrammingissuestosupportproductionefficiency Continuouslyimprovecycletimes,surfacefinish,andtoollife Workcloselywithengineering,production,andqualityteamstoensuremanufacturabilityandcompliance Maintainaccuratedocumentationofmachiningprogramsandprocessimprovements Requirements Proven experience as a CAD/CAMProgrammerinaprecisionmanufacturingenvironment ExperiencewithCAD/CAMsoftwaresuchasSolidCAM,HyperMill,Esprit,orsimilar StrongunderstandingofCNCmachining (millingand/orturning) Experiencemachiningtotighttolerances xcfaprz (0.02mmorbetter) StrongknowledgeofGD&Tandengineeringdrawings Experienceworkingwithmetalsandengineeringpolymers Strongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail Desirable Experience in medicaldeviceoraerospacemanufacturing FamiliaritywithISO13485orregulatedmanufacturingenvironments Whats on Offer Opportunity to work with cutting-edgeprecisionmanufacturingtechnologies Exposuretohigh-value,complexcomponentsforglobalMedTechcustomers Acollaborativeengineeringenvironmentfocusedoncontinuousimprovementandinnovati Skills: CAD/CAM Programming
