As part of this expansion, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager (f/m/d) to build a new team at our Munich location. You bring a passion for technological innovation and lead your team to outstanding successes on an equal footing.

  • You are responsible for building and leading an agile software engineering team, both professionally and disciplinarily.
  • You support and empower your team to develop high-quality software applications together. Your focus lies on engineering excellence – ensuring high delivery capability while maintaining a high level of quality, and ensuring employee and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • You utilize agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, OKRs) to plan the next development packages together with product management. You ensure the right people are assigned to the right tasks.
  • You actively promote the professional and personal development of your team members.
  • Together with your peers, you actively contribute to the strategic direction of your development area.
Your qualifications which inspire us

Have you successfully completed a degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject?

  • You have practical experience in leading software engineering teams, acting as a servant leader and thus seeing yourself primarily as a coach and mentor for your employees.
  • You have a technical background and possess good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot as well as modern web technologies such as Angular or React.
  • You are familiar with system architectures in dynamic cloud environments and related technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You are fluent in both German and English and appreciate professional exchange on an equal footing. You are able to convince others of your ideas.
