We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This versatile role involves a range of tasks critical to the efficient operation of our warehouse. From receiving and stocking inventory to picking, packing, and shipping orders, you'll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle within our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Mandatory use of appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting , up to 60 lbs, throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE .
