Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stack materials in a safe and orderly manner.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 70 lbs.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Good physical coordination and stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
