This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating items on the warehouse floor, carefully picking them, and then packing them securely for shipment. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, as well as a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists, using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Pack items safely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing quotas.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
