This versatile role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution center, contributing to all stages of inventory handling, from receiving to shipping. You will play a key part in our logistics network, ensuring the accuracy and timely movement of goods. This position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting and movement throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - training provided).
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including strict adherence to safety procedures and the use of PPE .
- Support the efficient flow of goods within the logistics process.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments.
- Perform duties requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and using required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual.
