As a Distribution Center Associate, you will handle a variety of tasks, including receiving merchandise, stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately log incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against documentation.
- Place inventory in designated storage locations using safe lifting methods.
- Pick items for customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, applying labels and organizing for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment as required (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive attitude.
