Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Orlando, Florida? We are seeking certified and safety-conscious individuals to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within our facility, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound Logistics . Your attention to detail and commitment to Safety are paramount. You will be expected to perform pre-operational checks on equipment and maintain a clean, organized work environment. We strictly enforce all safety regulations and require the consistent use of appropriate PPE . This role involves significant physical activity, including Lifting and maneuvering of goods. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse, including shipping/receiving docks and storage locations.
- Verify counts and inspect materials for damage during loading and unloading.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the facility.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE diligently during operation and while on the warehouse floor.
- Participate in other warehouse activities as needed, which may involve manual Lifting .
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Logistics and safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong emphasis on workplace Safety and accident prevention.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, including the use of PPE .
