Join our busy logistics hub as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Austin, Texas! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to manage the flow of goods into and out of our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that all incoming shipments are received accurately and efficiently, and that outgoing shipments are prepared with precision. You will be a key player in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, inspecting incoming goods for damage, accurately documenting received items, and stocking inventory. On the outbound side, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packages meet our quality standards. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks involving regular Lifting. You will work closely with a dedicated team of warehouse professionals and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals. We believe in fostering a safe and productive work environment, and comprehensive training on proper handling techniques and equipment usage will be provided. Key duties include:
- Receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming freight.
- Verifying packing slips against received items and reporting discrepancies.
- Stocking and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Loading outbound shipments onto delivery trucks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using our system.
- Adhering to strict Safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the receiving and shipping areas.
A strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the ability to handle significant Lifting are essential for this position. We are committed to providing a secure and supportive workplace.
