Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Verify incoming shipments against documentation and report any discrepancies.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are correctly labeled and prepared for transit.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
