About
We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of our logistics operations, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center. The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing demanding tasks, pays close attention to detail, and works well in a team environment. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and accurately log all incoming inventory.
- Sort and store materials in their designated locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and order instructions.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends if necessary.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations is beneficial.
