Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (conveyors, sorters, automated systems, etc.).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service calls.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed, adhering to safety standards.
- Support the overall efficiency and reliability of the logistics operations.
- Perform general housekeeping in the maintenance area and throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as a warehouse technician.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with automation and conveyor systems is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
