Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler for our San Jose, California facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our logistics chain. You will be responsible for efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks), and ensuring proper storage of goods. This position requires physical dexterity and the ability to handle frequent lifting. Safety is our utmost priority; strict adherence to safety procedures and the consistent use of appropriate PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and arrange materials in proper storage locations.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Support logistics and production teams as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 pounds.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with logistics and inventory control.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
