As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to follow instructions accurately and work effectively with minimal supervision. Experience with various forklift models and proficiency in using RF scanners are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and shipping containers.
- Transport products to and from designated areas, such as receiving, storage, and shipping docks.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, keeping aisles clear and free of obstructions.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics operations.
