Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with data? Our facility in Provo, Utah is looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate records of our warehouse stock. This role is critical for the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain. You will be responsible for counting, tracking, and verifying inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with stock rotation. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory items.
  • Record inventory data accurately using electronic systems and manual logs.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Assist in maintaining organized stockroom layouts and ensure proper product placement.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors to potential shortages or overages.
  • Participate in cycle counting and full inventory audits.
  • Ensure all inventory movements are accurately documented.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding inventory management and safety, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Support the receiving and shipping departments with inventory verification as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehousing is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is a strong asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) when necessary for counting or verification.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
