As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential for our supply chain efficiency and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of urgency. You will work with RF scanners and other technology to ensure accuracy and speed. We prioritize a safe working environment, providing all necessary PPE and training. Responsibilities:
- Read customer orders and identify specific item locations.
- Use an RF scanner to locate and pick requested items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify picked items against order slips for accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Replenish stock in picking locations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
