Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics operations in Madison, Wisconsin, as a skilled Forklift Operator. We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment efficiently to move, locate, replenish, and stage products. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse housekeeping standards.
  • Pick and stage orders accurately for shipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and meet productivity goals.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our logistics department.

Qualifications:
Certified or experienced forklift operator with a valid certification (if required by state/company). Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting (up to 70 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus. Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Commitment to following all PPE requirements and safety guidelines. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
