Join our leadership team in Seattle, Washington, as a Warehouse Supervisor! We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse logistics, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. You will be responsible for everything from scheduling and task delegation to inventory management and process improvement. Your guidance will be instrumental in meeting our operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the warehouse, enforcing the correct use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Handle lifting of items up to 60 lbs when necessary, and ensure team members are trained on safe lifting techniques.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve operational issues and employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and experience implementing safety programs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting.
