Join our bustling distribution center in Sacramento, California, as an Order Picker. This role is the backbone of our fulfillment process, ensuring that the right products are selected accurately and efficiently for our customers. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy within our logistics network. Responsibilities include navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve items, using handheld scanners to track inventory movements, and preparing orders for the packing station. A keen eye for detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. The ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting is crucial, as you will be handling various products throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Use RF scanners to confirm item pick locations and quantities.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned picking zones.
- Follow all Safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must comply with all PPE requirements for the role.
