About
We are seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our **logistics** team in Washington, D.C. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy, as well as a strong commitment to **safety**. You will utilize scanning devices and follow pick lists to locate items. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also essential. All employees must adhere to **safety** regulations and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verifying picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transporting picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized picking area.
- Adhering to all **safety** policies and procedures, including proper **lifting** techniques and **PPE** usage.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Meeting established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
