Job Summary:
Houston, Texas: We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage our warehouse operations. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your expertise will be crucial to optimizing our logistics processes and meeting operational demands. You will lead and collaborate with warehouse staff, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to all company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners and transportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is in safe working order.
  • Resolve any issues related to inventory, shipping, or receiving promptly.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse logistics, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
