We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (.NET) to provide technical leadership and deliver high-impact software systems across the organization. This is a senior individual contributor role that blends hands-on development with architectural leadership, cross-team influence, and mentorship. You will partner closely with product, data, and engineering leadership to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that power core business operations and long-term platform evolution. This role plays a critical part in defining technical standards, elevating engineering quality, and driving complex initiatives from concept through production. What You'll Do
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of complex.NET systems, including web applications, services, and integrations Define and drive technical direction within your domain, establishing architecture standards, best practices, and reference implementations Design and optimize data access layers, including SQL schemas, complex queries, and performance tuning Improve system reliability, scalability, security, and performance through thoughtful architecture and continuous refinement Lead technical design sessions and conduct high-quality code reviews Own and deliver cross-team technical initiatives end-to-end Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions Identify and reduce technical debt and systemic risk Mentor engineers at multiple levels and help develop future technical leaders Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident analysis, and continuous improvement What You Bring
Required Qualifications 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET building production-grade systems Strong experience with SQL, including data modeling and performance optimization Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives across teams Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and distributed systems concepts Experience delivering reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions without formal authority High level of ownership, accountability, and professional judgment Preferred Qualifications Experience modernizing and refactoring legacy systems Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Experience with observability and monitoring tools (logging, metrics, tracing) Full-stack development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience building internal platforms, shared services, or developer tooling Be Part of Something Bigger
