Project Engineer

Salary 65,000 plus living allowance and accommodation

• Participate in project handover from Estimating to Engineering/Construction teams
• Review project specifications, ERs, programmes, and engineering requirements
• Develop Engineering Deliverables Registers and RFI/TQ schedules
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and vendors on engineering and procurement matters
• Prepare detailed purchase specifications for HV materials
• Coordinate with design teams to align engineering outputs with project timelines

• Support development of the Pre-Construction Programme in line with the Contract Programme
• Prepare and manage engineering transmittal schedules
• Produce and submit technical submittals for equipment approval
• Conduct technical reviews of HV supplier drawings and manage deviations
• Chair vendor progress meetings and proactively manage queries and long-lead items
• Monitor and report on QA/QC compliance
• Support cost and commercial control in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor
• Identify and communicate project risks at an early stage
• Track procurement status, deliveries, and equipment documentation
• Maintain and manage RFI/TQ registers and client comment logs
• Coordinate with design, construction, and vendor teams to maintain programme compliance
• Attend and contribute to client and xcfaprz internal progress meetings
• Escalate technical or programme issues to the Lead Project Engineer/EDM as required
• Prepare commissioning handover packs and chair commissioning handover meetings
• Ensure testing and commissioning are completed in accordance with Quality Plans and ITPs
• Manage handover of O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and project documentation
• Support client engagement during the warranty period and retention close-out
