Are you an administrative whiz with a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments? Do you have a passion for technology and a desire to leverage IT systems to enhance your work? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to gain broad HR exposure in a dynamic role!

We are on the lookout for a People Administrator to join our team for up to 12 months. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support across the People Team, engaging in various HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, and training activities. You will be the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, making your role pivotal to our success!

About the RSC People Team

The RSC People Team is dedicated to offering expert advice on all matters related to our people. With specialized functions focusing on different areas of HR, we work collaboratively to support the RSC's strategic aims.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for People-related queries, providing advice, guidance, and signposting as needed.
  • Support the onboarding process for new colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience from day one.
  • Manage pre-employment checks to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and issue employment documents (e.g., contracts, probation letters, and contractual changes) using our recruitment system (eArcu).
  • Accurately input and monitor data in the HR & Payroll system (iTrent).

  • Experience in administration within a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of handling confidential information responsibly, with up-to-date knowledge of data protection requirements.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to use your initiative.

We value the ability to meet deadlines, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize your workload. A desire to work effectively as part of a busy team is essential!

Working Conditions

This position is based in Stratford-upon-Avon , with the option for some remote work. It is a full-time, fixed-term contract, requiring 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role, and we are open to discussing flexibility and hybrid working arrangements.
