Junior Kitchen Manager

Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team! Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 40 passionate individuals.

At the heart of our values is the commitment to making our guests smile. You’ll ensure that every operational decision keeps our guests at the forefront. Your responsibilities will include:

• Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team.
• Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll inspire your team through training schedules and performance development plans. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to lead and develop skills in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

As a chef at this level, you’ll also manage margins, control costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
