Join our rapidly growing fulfillment center in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an Order Picker. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a dedication to maintaining high standards. As an Order Picker, you'll navigate our warehouse using order lists and scanning technology to retrieve items, playing a vital part in our overall logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities against customer orders.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Transport orders to the shipping area for further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Strict adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures is expected.
- Consistent lifting of items up to 40 lbs will be required.
- Mandatory use of provided PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning technology is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
