Job Summary:
Our Durham, North Carolina facility is seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is key to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners, voice-picking technology, or pick sheets.
  • Verify picked items against order specifications for accuracy and quality.
  • Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and using required PPE.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Understand and follow all logistics procedures related to order fulfillment.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to supervision immediately.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning devices is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
