About
Our Columbus, Ohio logistics center is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments and ensure inventory accuracy. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of all inbound goods, including unloading, inspection, verification, and documentation. Your attention to detail and adherence to Safety standards are crucial for maintaining the integrity of our operations and supply chain. You will be the first line of defense in ensuring that what enters our warehouse is accounted for correctly and in good condition. Compliance with all Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and unpack incoming freight in a timely manner.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage, quantity, and accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Verify received items against system records using a scanner or manual entry.
- Accurately document all receiving transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
