About
We are hiring an Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Columbus, Ohio. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently select customer orders from our extensive inventory. You will utilize handheld scanners and pick lists to identify and retrieve products, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are gathered for each order. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong sense of responsibility. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall efficiency of the distribution center. Safety is a top priority; all team members must strictly follow Safety guidelines and wear the provided PPE. This position involves regular Lifting of items, typically up to 50 lbs, and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus, and we provide comprehensive training for all new hires. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities before confirming picks.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned picking zones.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations.
