Join our expanding logistics center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse. Your commitment to safety, including proper lifting techniques and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and accurately put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use all required PPE.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
