About
We are seeking an Order Picker to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders accurately and efficiently. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in selecting items from our warehouse stock. You'll be an integral part of our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Safety is a top priority in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Read order pick lists and accurately gather items from warehouse shelves.
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Ensure a smooth flow of goods through the order fulfillment process within our logistics network.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
