We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your precision and efficiency are crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
