We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment process. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a strong work ethic. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be handling a variety of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners or other provided technology.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Stage orders for shipment and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
- Operate various warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Properly utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and foster strong working relationships.
- Understand and execute tasks within the broader logistics network.
- Uphold the highest standards of workplace Safety.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and overtime as needed. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and with varying temperatures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and proper Lifting techniques is essential for success in this role.
