Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock inventory onto shelves or designated areas, following safe lifting practices.
- Pick customer orders accurately using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items carefully to ensure they arrive safely, applying appropriate labels.
- Prepare orders for shipment, coordinating with carriers as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, removing potential hazards.
- Assist in regular inventory management tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar industrial setting is advantageous.
- Physical ability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.
